Koman’s products are found in many sectors of industry including machine tools, construction, mining, agriculture, marine, oil and gas and others.
The Company is dedicated to continuous growth through investments. It aims to deliver a wider portfolio of
products to our customers, thus enhancing their contribution to their respective country’s economy.
The Beginning
Koman was founded in 1981.
From its humble beginnings in supplying quality hose assemblies to major OEMs in Korea, it has grown to become a reputed manufacturer of quality hose, fittings and adapters.
In the early days, the Company has worked in partnership with OEMs like Samsung Heavy Industries, contributing significantly to the Korean economy and subsequently transforming the Korean heavy equipment industries to become leading players on the world stage.
Under the leadership and foresight of our founder, Mr Kim Wook and supported by a young, innovative and diligent management team, the Company has ventured to manufacturing.
To Manufacturing
The Company started producing fittings with precision machining that dominated the Korean market and gradually entered the global market.
Significant investments were made in machineries to produce forgings from high grade steel.
Forgings are then finished on CNC machines which gives its fittings a fine finish which the Company is famous for.
Its partnership with our machinery vendors enable the Company to have machines designed specially to match its production processes.
Together with its innovative technical expertise, we strive for the highest productivity to deliver cost savings to our customers.
Combining automation, skilled labour and precise quality control, it build products that have attracted customers from all over the world.
Through Innovation, the Company have developed new products. In its continuous objective to create more value with our customers, the Company made further investment in machining centres to produce large bore API crimp fittings for the Oil exploration sector.
A Dream Becomes Reality
The year 2013 is a significant moment in its history, it embarked on a courageous vision to build a hose plant.
This is in line with the Company’s philosophy of investing to enhance our partnership with our customers.
Engaging the best Engineers available and leveraging on its extensive knowledge in producing
fittings and hose assemblies, the hose plant became a reality.
Its hose plant is state of the art, using advance technology to create a product that stands among the world best.
